Dr. Brad Henson
Lead Pastor
Brad serves as Lead Pastor of Woodlawn Church with a heart for people and a mind shaped by serious theological study. His education in theology grounds his leadership in Scripture, and his natural gift for storytelling draws listeners into both the beauty and the challenge of God’s Word.
Brad leads with a quiet confidence that comes from loving Jesus more than titles. He and his wife of thirty years, Stephanie, delight in life with their two young-adult sons and the family’s two mastiff-mix dogs, Rocco and Rumor. Whether working on their small farm, shaping hot metal in the “party barn,” or exploring the outdoors, Brad embraces the simple joys that keep life grounded.
Known for his ability to connect with people in every setting, Brad is just as comfortable sharpening a pocket knife, sighting in a rifle, fishing topwater for largemouth bass, or training a dog as he is preaching on Sunday morning. He values friendship, authentic conversation, and the kind of “guy-friend” moments that build trust and character.
Above all, Brad is passionate about Woodlawn Church and the gospel of Jesus Christ. His leadership aims to foster healthy, grace-filled relationships and to help every person discover a deeper relationship with God.

Bradon Henson
Worship Leader/Youth Pastor
Bradon is a graduate of Union University where he majored in Worship Leadership and Youth Ministry. At Union, Bradon was involved with a Christian Leadership Development Fraternity named Alpha Tau Omega. He and his newly wed wife Addison are extremely passionate about bringing the younger generation into the church and fostering long lasting, Godly relationships. They have been together since Jan 1st of 2020. On September 12, 2025 they welcomed their son Harvey Bray Henson into the world.
Bradon also serves the Lord as a sleep consultant at Happy ZZZ’s Sit N Sleep which is a local luxury mattress and furniture business dedicated to glorifying God while serving others.
Bradon is a fan of all things geeky whether that be, video games or Marvel. He and his wife have recently purchased a house walking distance from the church facility. Bradon cares deeply about bringing up new leaders in the church. He wants to see the Lord shine through others lives. He loves it here at Woodlawn!

Tammy Weitlauf
ASSISTANT TO THE PASTOR
Tammy is a detail-oriented, administrative wowzer who helps our team coordinate and accomplish projects. Before retirement, Tammy was a middle school teacher in the McCracken County School system. She and her husband of 37 years, Phil, have four children, three grandchildren, two sons-in-law and a mini-aussie.
Tammy coaches a local academic team and serves as a state academic team trainer. She regularly serves as a Horse Leader at Cassidy’s Cause Therapeutic Riding Academy in Paducah. This gives her a chance to show extravagant love to children and adults with special needs.
Tammy continues to substitute teach, uses her skills as a science teacher to help with programs at the Woodlands Nature Station in the LBL, and helps with toy distribution for the local Toys for Tots annual toy drive.
At Woodlawn you will see Tammy helping make sure a meeting is well prepared, a project is well supervised or a person is well loved.
